As a Housekeeping specialist, you are responsible for keeping your floor clean and making sure that everything runs smoothly. Tasks are divided into different positions.

Assistant Housekeeper, also called Floor Supervisor. Entry into this area usually begins as an "Assistant Housekeeper". Your main task here is keeping the guest rooms and the public areas clean. Beyond that, of course, you are also responsible for caring for the needs of the guests with regard to the room furnishings, etc. As an Assistant Housekeeper, you support the Head Housekeeper in upholding the quality standards and in meeting the goals for your department.

In the occupational field of Executive Housekeeping or as a Head Housekeeper, the diversity of the tasks and responsibilities is great. Ensuring the maintenance, care and cleaning of the entire hotel, including the convention rooms and wellness area all the way to the green spaces, are among the many responsibilities in this area. You are responsible for professional hygiene management and the adherence to all fire and general safety regulations. You take care of the linen supply, uniforms and inventory, as well as the application of devices, appliances and cleaning supplies. Beyond that, you are also responsible for planning your staff's work and holiday schedules.

The tasks and responsibilities in the occupational field of Housekeeping are multifaceted; each and every day brings with it new challenges. The number one priority here: to recognise and fulfil the wishes of the guests. In particular, the guests' special wishes, which are not uncommon, represent a unique challenge.
