In larger hotel chains the position of Executive Assistant Manager is also called Resident Manager. It is quite common for the holder of this position to be a resident i.e. to live in the hotel.

As a Hotel Director, you are responsible for the strategic planning. You determine and continually verify the hotel's positioning and orientation together with the management board. Together with his/her team, the Hotel Director ensures that the strategic planning is implemented in operations.
