We are not a classic hotel. But a heart-refreshing vacation home in Schladming for individualists who love small innovative hotels. For guests and employees!
Our corporate philosophy
We are a small charming hotel with a motivated team. We have completely rebuilt in 2021 and created a new hotel concept. We, that are Georg & Nadja Niederl. We run the Weiden with only 34 rooms, suites & apartments. The Hotel Weiden is a mixture between 4-star & aparthotel. We are a place for couples, families, friends and singles who want to enjoy nature in winter and summer and actively experience. During the day our guests are mostly all out of the house.
With us, guests can decide daily whether to come for breakfast or dinner "Smart Kitchen" or enjoy snacks from our à la carte menu. Mostly our guests book with breakfast and decide on the spot if they want dinner. We know daily how many guests are coming for dinner and the work is much less stressful than a "normal" half board with 5-course menu. We call our culinary in the evening "Smart Kitchen" and this takes place on a buffet/fingerfood basis. The breakfast buffet with classic and warm dishes including TCM bar offers a very large variety! Of course you can also help yourself to the breakfast buffet.

The pasture is a 2-season operation: we are open from mid-May - end of October as well as from mid-December to Easter. 1 month in spring and 1 month in autumn our farm is always closed

- Summercard for your active leisure time in summer (free buses, mountain railroads, admission to swimming lakes,...)
- Food free even on days off
- small team that works very well together (most employees stay many seasons!)
- Advantages for service & housekeeping & kitchen: no table plan writing, no table linen, no setting up for dinner, no setting up after evening service for breakfast, guests often do not want daily room cleaning, for kitchen after arrangement no evening service, shorter working hours in the evening - earlier closing time ;-)
- the most important at the end: We as bosses like to work, with heart & brain. We value our work and also our freedom and free time. It is important to us that our employees think similarly and mean it honestly. You can have "everything" from us as bosses - if YOU also give "everything"!
