Our corporate philosophy

The Streklhof is a 4-star family-run business. It has been a family affair and family-run for three generations. Tradition is a key aspect, as is respect for what has been built over time.
The Streklhof is a warm and welcoming place where we care for one another, our guests, and the environment. Anyone who knows us knows that it is the people who make the Streklhof what it is today.

Kitchen
The top priority is clearly enjoyment and nature. Regional delicacies, fresh specialties. Simply authentic—just as good cuisine should be.
The restaurant at the Streklhof is NOT an à la carte restaurant and is open exclusively to hotel guests. Guests can enjoy a 5-course dinner menu between 6:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. Our hotel can accommodate approximately 90 guests.
Our focus is on a varied menu, featuring regional products that are presented on the plate in a way that is both visually appealing and delicious.

Pools & Wellness
Measuring 18 x 9 meters, the panoramic outdoor pool is impressively large. In case of bad weather, the new indoor pool is an excellent alternative. Heated to 30°C, it offers a pleasant swimming experience.

Instead of adding new structure, the existing materials are reused: With the renovation of the new wellness barn, the Streklhof remains true to its philosophy. It is considered a “showcase barn” throughout Carinthia. This barn is undergoing a very special facelift. Wherever possible, the old materials are being reused. Old wooden doors are sanded down and reused. Traditional craftsmanship, local design, authentic architecture—the new wellness barn impresses both from the outside and the inside. In addition to a reception area with a cozy lounge and juice bar, it features a Finnish panoramic sauna, a saltwater and herbal steam bath, an infrared cabin, two relaxation rooms, a massage room, and an outdoor sun terrace. The sensational panoramic view of the Rosental valley provides additional relaxation.

Workshops
The seminar room on the top floor of the Wellness-Stadl is called “Weitblick.” This approximately 90-square-meter space is ideal for smaller events. Whether it’s motivational training, family constellations, a fasting week, executive coaching, or burnout prevention—it comfortably accommodates around 30 people.
