We are a family-run, historic hotel with 110 rooms and an à la carte restaurant, and a large proportion of repeat guests. Our hotel is located in the center of Abtenau in the Lammertal valley, in the Dachstein-West-Salzkammergut region, approximately 45 km south of Salzburg.

At Hotel Post, the well-being of our guests is our top priority—and so is the well-being of our staff. Of course, we value teamwork, because every employee is valuable. We’re not so big that we lose sight of the big picture, but we’re also not so small that you’ll ever get bored.
Our business has been a member of Salzburger Land Hotels for over 25 years; this organization primarily targets seniors as its guest demographic. We are happy to provide you with free room and board. Compensation is negotiable. We are closed during April and November.
