Our corporate philosophy
The Kothmühle now presents itself as a RelaxResort - an ideal setting for cuddling up in the countryside.
We no longer see ourselves as just a hotel, but as a resort. With wellness area, relaxation garden with swimming biotope and agriculture. Our grounds cover 8 hectares, including forest and farmland. The Mostviertel is a gentle hilly region with mighty pear trees, proud square farms and many products from the region. The ideal environment for relaxing and recharging your batteries in the cradle of Austria

The RelaxResort Kothmühle is a leading hotel in the Mostviertel region and one of the leading seminar hotels in Austria. The Kothmühle has been owned by the Scheiblauer family since 1866 and has been a 4* hotel since 1995, with 90 rooms, 160 beds and 8 seminar rooms.

There are currently 49 employees, including 9 apprentices, working in our team. We have our own staff house. We have a 5-day week for all employees, hours are jointly agreed from 25-45 h/week

Inexpensive vacation for our team: From 6 months of employment, our employees receive the Symposion Hotels Card "silver", which entitles them to one free overnight stay including half board in all Symposion hotels in Austria. After 3 years with the company, you receive the "Gold Card", which also covers the cost of a second night including half board
We go on great company outings (2019: Malta & Gozo, 2018: Bologna/Italy, 2017: Dublin/Ireland)
We celebrate our successes: Summer party at RelaxResort Kothmühle and Christmas party at our sister hotel Das Schloss an der Eisenstrasse
Own staff house
Support for further training and courses in the interests of the company and the job profile. Symposion Hotels Academy: training days for Symposion Hotels employees (e.g. complaint management, housekeeping, sales, etc.)
Free use of hotel facilities such as tennis courts, fitness room, bowling alleys, wellness area, W-LAN
Free catering: Breakfast, lunch and dinner in buffet form, fruit and juice offer
Employee discount: We are happy to grant a 10% employee discount on accommodation and packages, as well as a 10% discount on schnapps from the farm.
