Our corporate philosophy

"Enjoy nature mindfully."
Our philosophy is based on three core principles: a connection to nature, mindful living, and enjoyment. These are the values we strive for, and they guide how we run our hotel and our BratlAlm. We aim to convey this way of life to our guests and our staff through our daily actions and deeds.

With respect and honesty, with an open-minded attitude and a deep connection to the region, with tradition and modernity—this is how we, as a family and together with all our employees, embrace the privilege of being hosts every single day.


Nature:
We love nature, and we have plenty of it! We want to show our guests, in a relaxed and fun way, that nature provides us with everything we need to live. We are very grateful to be able to work with these treasures of nature.


Consciously:
One of our focuses is on our cuisine. We are what we eat—and vice versa: We eat the way we are.

That is why we place particular emphasis on the quality of our products. But we also place great importance on treating our guests, employees, and regional suppliers and partners with respect and appreciation.

In addition, activities such as yoga and forest bathing—that is, conscious efforts to bring body and mind into harmony—play an important role for us.


Enjoy:
Enjoyment means something different to everyone. Here are a few attempts at interpreting it:

- relax by our natural pool in the sun
- Go on a mountain bike ride to Wildwiese, our local mountain
- sink your teeth into a hearty wood-fired roast or a traditional Brettljausn sandwich at our BratlAlm
- a relaxing sauna infusion in our Schwitzstadl after a challenging hike
-A spruce needle oil massage at our Frisch & G’sund Spa
- a vegan dish at our hotel restaurant
-a good glass of Styrian wine at our tavern
