Neunußberg, a small, idyllic hamlet nestled below the striking castle ruins, sits atop a hill just under 700 meters high, offering views of the picturesque Regental valley and the surrounding forest landscape. This has been our home for generations and serves as a temporary home for our guests. And perhaps it will soon be yours, too?

For years, we have always followed the motto: quality over quantity. With a total of just 37 rooms and suites, the Hotel Sterr is one of the smallest wellness hotels in the region. We truly prioritize comfort and exclusivity for every single guest. This is reflected not only in our spacious rooms and suites. Above all, our unique garden paradise is second to none.
The exquisite cuisine under the direction of Kurt Muhr also promises the finest dining experiences. His culinary experts will round out your stay with a spectacular three-and-a-quarter-course gourmet package, whether with an excellent breakfast buffet or the popular afternoon buffet. In the evening, the kitchen pulls out all the stops once again to delight discerning palates with exclusive 5- or 6-course menus.

The simple recipe: an extra dash of attention and warmth.
The latest renovation has once again set new standards in luxury and spaciousness. A new room category called the “Spa Suite Deluxe” sits at the very top of the garden paradise, offering the very best view. A total of 3 suites, each spanning 110 square meters, offer two guests a private sauna, a private outdoor hot tub, and two wind-protected loggias. As a special service, breakfast and dinner can also be served in the suite upon request.

Less than 100 meters from the hotel, six chalets made of reclaimed wood are arranged around a peaceful swimming pond, forming a small mountain village. A perfect example of pure privacy, each features an open fireplace, a private sauna, and an outdoor hot tub on the terrace. With their thoughtful details, these chalets have long been a defining feature of the region’s style. The mountain village is the epitome of relaxing coziness, and it is located very close to the hotel, which guests of the mountain village can enjoy in all its diversity if they wish: whether the garden, bar, restaurant, or wellness area.
As a guest at the chalet, you certainly won’t have to go without any amenities. The family and staff make sure that all you have to worry about is enjoying your well-deserved break. Because that is what true luxury is all about.
