Neunußberg, a small, dreamy hamlet below the striking castle ruins, lies on a hilltop almost 700 meters high with a view over the picturesque Regental valley and the surrounding forest landscape. This has been our home for generations and the temporary home of our guests. And maybe soon yours too?

For years, we have always followed the motto: quality instead of quantity. And so Hotel Sterr, with a total of just 37 rooms and suites, is one of the smallest wellness hotels in the region. Comfort and exclusivity for every single guest are really important to us. This is not only reflected in the spacious rooms and suites. Above all, the unique garden paradise is second to none.
The excellent cuisine under the direction of Kurt Muhr also promises the best prospects for connoisseurs. His gourmet experts round off your stay with a brilliant ¾ gourmet board. Whether with an excellent breakfast buffet or the popular afternoon buffet. In the evening, the kitchen once again pulls out all the stops to delight spoiled palates with exclusive 5- or 6-course menus.
And in combination with the friendly and attentive service team, a stay with us is a real pleasure, and not just for our guests.
The simple recipe: an extra pinch of attention and cordiality
The most recent renovation has once again set new standards in terms of luxury and spaciousness. A new room category called "Spa Suite Deluxe" is enthroned at the very top of the garden paradise with the very best view. A total of 3 suites offer 110m² for two people with their own sauna, outdoor whirlpool and two loggias sheltered from the wind. As a special service, breakfast and dinner can also be served in the suite on request

Less than 100 meters from the hotel, six old wooden chalets are arranged around a peaceful swimming pond to form a small mountain village. A successful example of pure privacy with an open fireplace, private sauna and outdoor whirlpool on the terrace. With their loving attention to detail, these chalets were and still are style-defining in the region. The Bergdorf is the epitome of relaxing coziness, and it is located very close to the hotel, which Bergdorf guests can use in all its diversity if they wish: whether garden, bar, restaurant or wellness area
