BergpfeffeR encompasses a wide range of dining concepts—from a Viennese coffeehouse to a bar, a pub, and a restaurant—that we strive to bring together. Since the 2015 edition, we have been listed in Gault Millau and Falstaff and awarded one toque/fork.
Our corporate philosophy
Our restaurant seats approximately 70 guests indoors and 65 on our panoramic terrace. From here, you’ll enjoy an unobstructed view of the Tote Gebirge mountain range, including its highest peaks, the Großer Priel and the Spitzmauer. Vorderstoder is one of the sunniest places in the state, so our terrace is in high demand. Our culinary style features Austrian classics with a Mediterranean twist and a touch of flair. We also place great emphasis on a refined beverage and wine culture. Since the chef himself is a certified sommelier, we take particular pride in the expert preparation and service of all types of beverages, from coffee and beer to wine and digestifs.
What we offer our employees
Employment: starting in July 2021, employment contract
Above-average pay (willing to pay above market rate depending on qualifications), plus very good monthly tips (approx. €500)
4 days a week, 40 hours per week; overtime compensated with time off
The restaurant is closed on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays (three days off per week), except on holidays (when the days off are rescheduled)
Company holidays (spring, end of summer vacation, and November)
