True to our motto, “ebbas bsonders,” we brew a variety of specialty beers at Germany’s highest-altitude brewery. Our own restaurant, the “Bieralp,” is known for its quality and unique charm.
Our corporate philosophy
At the foot of the Grüntens, in a stunning location
For several years now, the hand-brewed beers from Germany’s highest-altitude private brewery, BernardiBräu near Rettenberg in the idyllic Oberallgäu region, have been synonymous with “something special.” Since early summer 2019, owner and master brewer Berni Göhl and his wife Petra have been welcoming guests with a special offering:
The newly built Bier Alp. Here, the full-bodied specialty beers find a worthy setting for enjoyment and invite hikers, beer connoisseurs, and day-trippers to the cozy BierAlp and its beautiful terrace to savor regional dishes.
The Bier Alp can accommodate about 100 guests indoors and 150 guests outdoors, and is easily accessible by car. This makes the Bier Alp an excellent choice for family celebrations or corporate events, offering an authentic Allgäu experience.
In the spring of 2024, we will begin the expansion and renovation work we have been planning for some time. First, we will expand our modern kitchen to create an optimal working environment for our kitchen staff, and second, we will add a separate dining room to the existing dining area.
