Our corporate philosophy
Herzblut Gastronomie GmbH, which has been successfully operating as a restaurant operator since 2013, will open its first restaurant in downtown Salzburg in mid-October with a new concept.
Products and services.
“Zia Mizzi” is a unique dining concept in downtown Salzburg (Kaigasse) that brings the Italian way of life—La Dolce Vita—to life in a modern, upscale yet cozy setting. Specializing in focaccia, antipasti, and high-quality Italian seafood and meat dishes, the restaurant offers a culinary experience that goes beyond pizza and pasta.
The centerpiece of “Zia Mizzi” is the focaccia—fresh from the oven, filled with a variety of toppings, and perfect for a quick bite in or to go. The menu is complemented by high-quality antipasti, seasonal Italian tapas, and the signature dish: the original Bistecca alla Fiorentina—a premium-quality Tuscan T-bone steak. The interior combines warm Italian colors, modern lines, and cozy materials to create an urban-Mediterranean ambiance in a 1960s style. The Italian culinary story at “Zia Mizzi” is rounded out with a select, small assortment of Italian wines & Prosecco, lemonades, and beverages, along with a typical Italian aperitif selection.
The concept is based on four pillars:
1. Quality: High-quality ingredients, preferably locally sourced or imported directly from Italy
2. Tempo: Fast, fresh cuisine – also ideal for business guests
3. Experience: Bringing "La Dolce Vita" to life—through ambiance, music, and service
4. Hybrid model: 50% of sales are expected to come from takeout
The first restaurant in Salzburg's Old Town seats about 30 people, with an additional 30 seats available on the patio in the summer.
