Our corporate philosophy

Herzblut Gastronomie GmbH, which has been successfully operating restaurants since 2013, will open its first restaurant in downtown Salzburg in mid-October with a new concept.

Product and service.
Zia Mizzi is a new kind of restaurant concept in downtown Salzburg (Kaigasse) that brings the Italian way of life—la dolce vita—to life in a modern, high-quality, yet cozy setting. Specializing in focaccia, antipasti, and high-quality Italian fish and meat specialties, the restaurant offers culinary delights beyond pizza and pasta.

The heart of Zia Mizzi is focaccia—fresh from the oven, filled with a variety of ingredients, and perfect for quick enjoyment on site or to take away. The menu is complemented by high-quality antipasti, seasonal Italian tapas, and the signature dish: the original Bistecca alla Fiorentina—a premium-quality Tuscan T-bone steak. The interior combines warm Italian colors, modern lines, and cozy materials to create an urban Mediterranean ambience in 1960s style. The culinary Italian story surrounding Zia Mizzi is rounded off with a small selection of Italian wines and prosecco, lemonades and other beverages, and a typical Italian aperitif selection.

The concept is based on four pillars:

1. Quality: High-quality ingredients, preferably regional and sourced directly from Italy
2. Speed: Fast, fresh cuisine—also ideal for business guests
3. Experience: Bringing "La Dolce Vita" to life – through atmosphere, music, and service
4. Hybrid concept: 50% of sales to be generated through takeaway

The first restaurant in Salzburg's old town offers seating for around 30 people, with the same number of additional seats available outside in summer.
