In a world-class ski resort... a winter season well worth the trip—OBERGURGL in the Ötztal Valley, Tyrol.
Obergurgl is one of the most famous and snow-sure ski resorts in the Alps, attracting a very upscale clientele.
Our motto is: "Quality over quantity."

We live in a cozy Tyrolean village at an elevation of 1,930 meters, with about 450 residents and approximately 4,500 guest beds. The ski area stretches from 1,800 m to over 3,000 m above sea level; here, you can ski right from your front door without having to wait in line at the lifts. Employees can purchase a very affordable season pass valid throughout the entire ski area.

The winter season runs from mid-November to the end of April. The start date can be arranged flexibly, but the latest start date is mid-December, so that everyone has time to get up to speed before the Christmas peak season begins.

Our four-star deluxe Hotel Alpina has 167 guest beds in 86 rooms, and we employ approximately 55 staff members, all of whom live on-site. It is important to us to provide our employees with excellent, varied meals. Most of our staff rooms are very spacious and equipped with a bath or shower, toilet, telephone, and satellite TV. We place the utmost importance on cleanliness and order in the rooms, which allows us to offer you clean, impeccable accommodations as well.

Every other Wednesday, we provide you with fresh bed linens. You can have your work and personal laundry washed free of charge. We wash work clothes daily and personal laundry every Wednesday. We also have a separate laundry room with ironing facilities for our employees. Here, you can do your own laundry using 50-cent coins.

Our swimming pool, as well as the entire sauna and wellness area, are available to our employees one evening a week, from 9:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m. Upon request, the swimming pool can also be used on other evenings. We expect the facility to be left clean. Discounted tanning bed tokens are available from our receptionist. Ample parking is available in our hotel parking lot (right next to the building).
