With the Alpenhof and Das Unterrain hotels, we operate two distinct hotel concepts in St. Jakob in the Defereggental—nestled in the heart of one of East Tyrol’s most beautiful high valleys, at an elevation of approximately 1,400 meters above sea level.
The Alpenhof is a historic 4-star hotel with a spacious wellness area and an all-inclusive concept. Personal hospitality, quality, and well-organized operations are our top priorities. Despite the size of the hotel, we strive to offer our guests a personal and warm atmosphere.
Just a few minutes away, Das Unterrain is a modern lifestyle and boutique hotel****. This smaller, more personalized hotel concept is all about attentive service, convenience, and plenty of room for individuality and your own ideas.
