Our Hotel Alpenhof is located on the outskirts of St. Jakob in the Defereggental valley at an elevation of about 1,400 meters—right in the heart of one of East Tyrol’s most beautiful high valleys.
Our 4-star hotel combines traditional Tyrolean hospitality with a modern all-inclusive concept. We’re looking for a dedicated bartender / bar all-rounder (m/f/d) to join our team—someone who enjoys working with people and is eager to get actively involved.

What makes your role with us special: Your workplace isn’t always the same.
Our lobby bar has a relaxed and sociable atmosphere. This is where our guests gather after a day in the mountains for a coffee, an aperitif, or a cozy evening drink. You’ll serve as a host and point of contact, ensuring that our guests enjoy their time at the bar.
Our music pub, “Tiroler Keller,” is a completely different story : things can get a lot livelier here. Music, a great atmosphere, drinks, and a laid-back, friendly vibe take center stage.
It’s precisely this mix that makes the role so varied.

Here at the Tiroler Keller, we’re especially looking for someone who enjoys creating a great atmosphere and helping us develop the pub further.
Do you have ideas for special drinks, small promotions, theme nights, or ways we can bring even more life to the Tiroler Keller? Then we’d love to hear them.
Your Responsibilities
Depending on your shift, you’ll be in charge of our lobby bar or the Tiroler Keller, where you’ll serve as a host for our hotel guests.
This includes preparing and serving our drinks, attending to and advising guests, as well as preparing and organizing your respective bar area.
You’ll ensure cleanliness, order, and an appealing presentation; keep track of inventory and restocking; and work with your colleagues to make sure bar operations run smoothly.
Above all, your personality will help create an atmosphere that makes our guests want to stay for one more drink.
What We’re Looking for in You
Ideally, you already have experience in bar or restaurant service and are familiar with classic beverages, spirits, long drinks, and cocktails.
But what matters most to us is your personality.
You’re communicative, attentive, and enjoy being a host. You can adapt to different guests and situations and feel at home both in the relaxed atmosphere of our lobby bar and in a lively pub.
Good German language skills are important for interacting with our guests. Additional language skills—especially Italian or English—are, of course, a plus.

Accommodation is provided in a single-occupancy apartment, with meals and drinks included. You’re also welcome to use the pool area and fitness room free of charge, subject to availability.
