Description
In Krems, Lower Austria, a state-of-the-art sports and leisure pool is being built directly on the banks of the Danube, with spacious areas for swimming, bathing, relaxing, enjoying the sauna, and having fun. The new facility will open at the end of June 2026 and will be run by a municipal operating company.
GMF, Gesellschaft für Entwicklung und Management von Freizeitsystemen mbH & Co. KG, is responsible for the pre-opening and staff recruitment (gmfneuried.de).
We are looking to fill the following position as soon as possible
Operations Manager [m/f/d]
You are a person with professional experience in the responsible and successful (deputy) management of leisure/hotel or tourism businesses with a high proportion of à la carte catering, and you are motivated to work with the GMF project management team to develop and open this new facility and successfully manage its ongoing operations.
Requirements
What you bring to the table.
- Completed, subject-related training and/or studies, as well as management experience in the leisure/hotel or tourism sector
- Results-oriented thinking and acting, as well as team-oriented personnel management
- Customer and service-oriented, flexible, resilient, hands-on mentality
What you can expect.
- Operational management of the facility with more than 40 employees
- Operational organization and safety, personnel management, budget responsibility, sales, and marketing
- Assumption of commercial management responsibilities (including the regulated catering industry)
- Language skills
German
