Posthotel & Lifehotel is a premium employer on HOGASTJOB and therefore very popular among applicants.

Description

About Us:

We, the Furgli Family Hotels, stand for unforgettable family vacations in the heart of Serfaus. Here, children’s dreams come true—and starting this summer, even on two wheels! Our exclusive bike program offers tailor-made adventures for every age and skill level: from a 3-year-old’s very first attempt at braking in the parking lot to a high-speed gravity tour for true experts on the single trails of Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis. For this, we’re looking for an enthusiastic guide who loves trails—but loves kids just a little bit more!

Your duties on two wheels:

  • Kids Biking & Coaching: You’ll teach our youngest guests (ages 3 and up) how to brake and turn on the parking lot in a fun, playful way, or you’ll rock the pump track and wooden ramps with the older kids.
  • Trail Guiding for All Ages: You’ll safely guide groups (max. 6–8 participants) through the mountains—from green leisure trails (like the Bifitrail) to blue classics (Zirbentrail) and red signature trails (Frommestrail, Jochtrail) for teens and adults.
  • Safety & Technique: Before each ride, you’ll perform a bike check, fairly assess the participants’ riding skills, and optimize your riders’ technique using photo and video analysis right on the trail.
  •  All-around support: You’ll organize cable car transportation (Waldbahn, Sunliner, etc.) for kids without parents and accompany your groups to a group lunch at the hotel or to the legendary Monday barbecue at the grill area.
  • Teamwork: You coordinate closely with our other bike guide when it comes to guest inquiries or program adjustments.

Your profile:

  • Top-level riding skills: You ride confidently on red trails, handle turns, steps, and root sections (up to S3) with ease, and ideally have completed training as a mountain bike guide or bike park instructor.
  • An absolute expert with kids: You have the patience of a saint, are empathetic, and can motivate even tired 6-year-olds after a long morning on the trails.
  • Sense of responsibility: Safety is your top priority. You strictly enforce the use of mandatory protective gear (helmets, pads).
  • Team player & organizational skills: You’re communicative, flexible, and always have lift tickets and logistics for your kids’ groups under control.

What we offer you:

  • Attractive salary: A fair, performance-based salary of approx. €2,100 net per month (gladly more depending on qualifications and experience), plus pro-rated vacation and Christmas bonuses (13th & 14th month’s salary).
  • Top environment: Work in one of Austria’s best biking regions (Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis) right at the source.
  • Furgli benefits: We provide free meals and accommodation.
  • Work environment: A warm, close-knit team where having fun at work is a priority.
