About the Hotel Alpenhof
The Alpenhof is a family-run 4-star alpine & wellness hotel with around 100 beds and approx. 55 employees. Our guests are mainly vacation and wellness guests of all ages - we place great value on personal service, warmth and a family atmosphere. Despite our awards, we are not aloof: what counts for us is team spirit, enjoyment of our profession and close contact with our guests. Requirements
Tasks and responsibilities
- Professional care and advice for our guests in the restaurant and bar area
- Independent management of a service station
- Taking and processing orders and serving food and drinks
- Preparing and professionally serving cocktails, long drinks and aperitifs
- Actively selling drinks and food and recommending wine and spirits accompaniments
- Coordination and close cooperation with the kitchen and service team
- Compliance with quality and hygiene standards
Qualifications and requirements
- Completed training in the hotel or catering industry
- Several years of professional experience in upscale service, ideally as Chef de Rang
- Sound knowledge of bar and beverage management
- Host mentality, communicative demeanor and enjoy dealing with guests
- Ability to work under pressure, flexibility and team orientation
- Very good knowledge of German, good knowledge of English, other foreign languages an advantage
- Language skills
