Requirements
You have experience working in the kitchen preparing the breakfast buffet and keeping it stocked throughout the day. You have worked in upscale hotels as a breakfast chef and/or kitchen assistant and have gained the necessary professional experience. You excel at working independently. You love arranging beautifully presented platters of cold cuts, cheese, and fruit, and preparing delicious breakfast dishes; you are dedicated, motivated, and maintain a clear overview of your mise en place. Job Objectives • Shared responsibility for setting up the breakfast buffet • Optimal quality through continuous improvement • Optimal cost-effectiveness through efficient use of food • Conscientious fulfillment of assigned tasks • Compliance with hygiene and HACCP guidelines • Maintaining high guest satisfaction (No. 1 in the region on HolidayCheck) Specific Tasks • Preparing the necessary mise-en-place (cold cut and cheese platters, yogurts, muesli, fruit platters, pre-baking bread dough pieces, • clean and flawless preparation of the breakfast buffet • Knowledge of and adherence to proper storage and handling of all ingredients • Adherence to and implementation of specified recipes • Attractive and professional plating of prepared dishes • Assisting the kitchen team with any tasks that arise • Completing any tasks that arise during the course of business • Proper use and maintenance of equipment • Economical and cost-conscious use of materials • Friendly interaction with colleagues (m/f/d) • Compliance with HACCP guidelines and cleaning schedules If you enjoy your work, want to demonstrate your skills, and are eager to gain further knowledge with us, then you’ve come to the right place!
