For our 4-star superior Hotel Platzer in Gerlos, we’re looking for a reliable and dedicated building technician / custodian (m/f/d) who, together with our head custodian, will handle the technical support and maintenance of our property.
Your primary workplace will be the Hotel Platzer. In addition, you’ll assist our F&B Manager at Cin-Cin Gerlos—one of the most famous après-ski spots in the Zillertal Arena—with logistical tasks.

Tasks
As a building technician/caretaker, you’ll be our reliable all-arounder at Hotel Platzer and will also assist with operations at Cin-Cin as needed.
Your responsibilities include:
- Building Services & Maintenance: Ongoing inspection, maintenance, and upkeep of technical equipment, as well as performing minor repairs at the hotel.
- Building & Outdoor Maintenance: Ensuring the hotel is well-maintained and operates smoothly, including care of the outdoor areas.
- Winter Services: Snow removal and keeping access roads, parking lots, and sidewalks clear, including the use of our excavator.
- Goods Receiving & Warehouse Logistics: Receiving, inspecting, and properly distributing delivered goods, as well as assisting with warehouse organization.
- Returnable Container Management: Sorting, organizing, and preparing returnable containers for return to our suppliers.
- Support at Cin-Cin: Collaborating with our F&B Manager on logistical, technical, and organizational tasks during daily operations.
- General janitorial duties: Flexible support with ad-hoc tasks and small projects throughout our facilities.
Requirements
What you should bring to the table:
- Manual dexterity and a good understanding of technology
- An independent, reliable, and organized work style
- Physical stamina and a passion for hands-on work
- Class B driver’s license
- Experience operating construction equipment or an excavator is a plus
- Team spirit, flexibility, and a willingness to pitch in wherever support is needed
A trade or technical education is a plus, but not required. What matters most to us is your practical experience, your willingness to work hard, and a solution-oriented attitude.
