Hotel and Hospitality Assistant (m/f/d)

We offer you an apprenticeship as a hotel and hospitality assistant. You’ll get to know all the key departments of a hotel, with a focus on business training (especially front office, reception, marketing, and more). You’ll also gain experience in the culinary side of the business (service, kitchen). In any case, you can look forward to an exciting time filled with many new acquaintances and life experiences.

As part of your apprenticeship, you’ll gain experience in the following areas at the front office: (approx. 75% of your training)

• Check-ins & Greetings
• Check-outs and billing
• Administrative tasks (daily menus, morning mail, etc.)
• Phone duty, reservations desk
• Advising guests (hiking trails, ski resorts, etc.)
• Ticketing for guests (e.g., for activities)
• Complaint management
• As a front office employee, you serve as the organizational link between all departments (housekeeping, kitchen, service, facility management, management)

In the Service & Kitchen department: (approx. 20% of your training)

• Beverage knowledge
• Serving food and beverages
• Preparation and cleanup in the restaurant
• Point-of-sale systems
• Wine service
• Knowledge of Food Management

• Various tasks in the kitchen

   

The remaining 5% of your training:

• Bookkeeping
• Facility management
• Housekeeping
