Description
In the middle of the beautiful Illertal valley you will find the Bonlanden Monastery - seat of the Congregation of the Franciscan Sisters of Bonlanden German Province e. V. We combine the modern crib trail panorama with monastery café, conference center with guest facilities and a spacious monastery complex and are supported by around 60 employees. We offer our guests 120 overnight accommodations and conference rooms for up to 150 people. We are looking for you to join our dedicated team as Head of Service in the conference center.
- Management and control of the entire service area in the café and conference center
- Professional management of subordinate employees
- Staff deployment planning
- Ensuring a high-quality service experience for guests and customers
- Developing and implementing service concepts and quality standards
- Interface to other areas such as kitchen, pastry shop, administration
- Responsibility for compliance with hygiene standards
- Organization and support of special events or special guest requests
Requirements
- Completed training in the hotel industry, gastronomy or comparable qualification
- Several years of professional experience in the service sector
- Sound know-how in professional guest service/event service
- Confident handling of common office and possibly event software
- Strong service orientation and respectful interaction with guests and employees
- Strong communication skills, ability to work in a team
- High sense of responsibility, flexibility and ability to work under pressure
- Openness to the values and mission statement of the hotel
- Language skills
