Kitchen Assistant (m/f/d)

You'll help with food preparation in the hotel kitchen and assist with serving a simple mountain lodge menu at the Alpengasthaus Karwendel. Among other things, we're known for our Kaiserschmarrn.

Depending on seasonal demand and the time of year, your responsibilities will include:

Duties• Mise en place and food preparation in the hotel kitchen• Plating and serving the mountain lodge menu at the Alpengasthaus Karwendel• Preparing for the daily delivery.• Responsible handling of food• Careful use of machines and equipment• Maintaining cleanliness in the workplace and in the kitchen• Assisting with dishwashing

You can expect a varied and straightforward role at a popular hiking and ski lodge. We are looking to establish a respectful, long-term working relationship during both the summer and winter seasons.

Professional and Personal Requirements:

· Awareness of the importance of a positive guest experience and quality of service

· A passion for cooking or relevant professional experience

· Creativity and a focus on solutions

· Strong ability to work in a team and a high level of commitment

· An attitude of appreciation toward food

· Very good knowledge of HACCP guidelines

· High standards of quality

· Languages: Good command of German; knowledge of English is a plus

· Good manners and a neat, well-groomed appearance
