Requirements
We are a family-run, mother-daughter business; the reception/office is the central hub, the “heart” of our hotel. The receptionist/secretary is the boss’s right-hand person and is responsible for reservations, check-in and check-out, room charges, collecting hotel payments, and correspondence. Friendliness and warmth are our top priorities.
During the peak season of July and August, we accommodate a maximum of 65 guests. We have approximately 40 guests in the main building/hotel (Classic and Superior double rooms) and 6 suites in the Seehaus, located directly on the lake. There is also a cozy hotel bar. A fantastic spa, sauna, and steam room. The summer season starts off fairly quiet in early May and lasts until early/mid-October; then we close for the winter season and reopen around December 18 until approximately the first week of March. Then we close again until early May. We also own a country house, Landhaus Sonneck, located a 5-minute walk from the hotel, which features 4 vacation apartments; the hotel reception handles reservations and billing for these as well.

Working hours: NO EVENING SHIFTS, working hours: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with a 30-minute lunch break / 6 days a week

Offer
Our long-time employee is retiring, and we are looking for a successor starting in the fall of 2026 or the 2026–2027 winter season.
Full-time position available, or summer and winter seasons. Housing: Avery nice apartment, a 5-minute walk from the hotel, or a 65 m² apartment with a balcony nearby.
6-day workweek; 5 days also possible; no split shifts and no evening shifts. Day off can be chosen freely.
Weissensee is a fantastic area for nature lovers—swimming, hiking, and biking in the summer… we have a beautiful beach for staff, bicycles, boats, etc.
In winter: ice skating, downhill skiing, cross-country skiing, winter hiking…
