Description
Our mission as a regional tourism organization is to inspire guests to travel to Carinthia and to benefit the tourism industry. To strategically strengthen our market presence, we are expanding our “Sales Promotion” team and are looking for a dedicated individual with a strong understanding of B2B sales and a high degree of execution-oriented focus.Your RoleAspart of the Sales Promotion team, you will actively work to connect Carinthian tourism businesses with sales partners in the DACH region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland). You will help initiate concrete business relationships and implement booking-related collaborations. Your focus will be on operational implementation, market development, and direct collaboration with businesses and partners.
Your Responsibilities:
Sales & Market Development DACH
- Planning and implementation of sales promotion measures in the DACH region
- Development of booking-related offers and initiatives
- Establishing and managing partnerships with tour operators, travel agencies, platforms, and other sales partners
Organizing and executing B2B initiatives such as roadshows, workshops, trade shows, and collaborative projects
Support for tourism businesses
- Active support and consultation for Carinthian tourism businesses on sales and marketing issues
- Support with offer development, product bundling, and market entry in the DACH region
Proactively connecting businesses with suitable distribution partners in the market
Market monitoring & implementation
- Analysis of market trends, travel behavior, and sales developments in the DACH region
- Derivation and implementation of concrete measures to increase demand
- Further development of sales approaches and formats
Requirements
- Education in tourism, sales, marketing, or a related field
- Experience in tourism sales, preferably in the B2B sector
- Good knowledge of the DACH market is a plus
- Understanding of tourism offerings, sales strategies, and booking processes
- Strong communication skills and a passion for networking with partners and businesses
- Structured, independent, and solution-oriented approach to work
- Willingness to travel within the DACH region
- Language skills
