Description
We are looking for a qualified and motivated PASTRY CHEF (m/f/d) to join the kitchen team at our family-run 4-star superior hotel, the HOCHKÖNIGIN—someone with a passion for fine pastries and homemade delicacies.
You enjoy creative work, have a keen eye for quality and aesthetics, and love enchanting our guests with sweet moments. Ideally, you’ve already gained experience in the upscale hospitality industry or in a patisserie.
As a member of our TEAM OF THE QUEEN, your skills and enthusiasm will play a key role in ensuring our guests are delighted day after day.
Position available starting in October 2026!
Responsibilities:
- Preparing cakes, tarts, and sweet specialties according to our quality standards
- Assisting with the production of our desserts for the evening menu
- Handling food with care and adhering to hygiene guidelines (HACCP)
- Working closely with the kitchen team and the breakfast service
- Creatively designing and decorating the cake buffet
Requirements
- A passion for baking and a keen sense of taste, quality, and presentation
- Experience in pastry or in a hotel kitchen is a plus, but formal training is not required
- Ability to handle pressure, team spirit, and a passion for shared success
- Independent, meticulous, and organized work style
- Good written and spoken German
- Language skills
