Description
We are looking for a qualified and motivated PASTRY CHEF (m/f/d) to join the kitchen team at our family-run 4-star superior hotel, the HOCHKÖNIGIN, someone with a passion for fine pastries and homemade delicacies.
You enjoy creative work, have a keen eye for quality and aesthetics, and love enchanting our guests with sweet moments. Ideally, you have already gained experience in the upscale hospitality industry or patisserie.
As a member of our TEAM OF THE QUEEN, your skills and enthusiasm will play a key role in ensuring our guests are delighted every single day.
Position available starting May 2026!
Responsibilities:
- Preparing cakes, tarts, and sweet specialties according to our quality standards
- Assisting with the production of our desserts for the evening menu
- Careful handling of food and adherence to hygiene guidelines (HACCP)
- Close collaboration with the kitchen team and breakfast service
- Creative design and decoration of the cake buffet
Requirements
- Passion for baking and a good sense of taste, quality and presentation
- Experience in the patisserie sector or in a hotel kitchen is an advantage, but training is not essential
- Ability to work under pressure, team spirit and enjoyment of shared success
- Independent, careful and structured way of working
- Good written and spoken German
- Language skills
