Receptionist (m/f/d)

Winter season

Österreich, Salzburg

Description

Are you passionate about hospitality?

Then you’ve come to the right place—whether you’re looking for a seasonal position or want to become a long-term member of our team! As a receptionist at Tauernherz, you’ll be the first point of contact for our guests and thus a vital part of our heart and soul.

Do you love interacting with people, stay on top of things even when multiple tasks come up at once, and enjoy finding the right solution for our guests? Then we look forward to meeting you!

Your responsibilities range from processing reservations via email, phone, and booking platforms to handling check-in and check-out, as well as providing personalized care for our guests during their stay.

You’ll work closely with our entire team, and together with us, you’ll be responsible for ensuring that our guests feel completely at home from the moment they first contact us until the day they leave.

What you can expect from us: a close-knit team, communication on an equal footing, short lines of communication, and hosts who are actively involved rather than just going through the motions. We’re looking for someone who brings heart, enthusiasm, and initiative to the job and is eager to help shape the Tauernherz alongside us.

Become a core member of our team—we look forward to receiving your application!

Requirements

What You Bring to the Table

  • Excellent written and spoken German and English skills
  • Enjoy working with people and have a genuine hospitality mindset
  • A confident and friendly demeanor
  • Strong communication skills and a passion for personal interaction with our guests
  • Ability to work independently and responsibly
  • Reliability and organizational skills
  • Ability to work well in a team and a good sense of how to foster a harmonious working environment
  • Flexibility and the willingness to maintain a clear overview even in hectic situations
  • Initiative and the ability to find solutions
  • Proficiency with computers and common Office applications
  • Ideally, experience working at a front desk or relevant training—but we value personality, motivation, and a passion for hospitality more than perfect prior experience

In short: We’re not looking for a “desk jockey,” but rather a warm, outgoing person who enjoys being a host and works with our team to ensure our guests feel welcome.
