Hospitality since 1958!

Our Kinderhotel Felben emerged from the original "Felbermeilinger Bauernhof" and began with a small guest room, so that the Mittersill district of Felben also had an inn. The first six guest rooms were quickly occupied by tourists eager to travel. Gradual expansions made it possible to join the Kinderhotels Europa in 1992. At the same time, care was taken at all times to harmonize the Pinzgau style with 4-star hotel comfort. In 2009, we were promoted to the "first league" of Kinderhotels and awarded the 5th Smiley. Meanwhile we have 43 accommodation units, swimming pool with giant slide and wellness area, 10 large playrooms, 8000 m² outdoor playground with its own ski hill as well as an active farm with horse riding and petting zoo. Our big and small guests are cooked, entertained and looked after by 45 employees

Since 2014, we have been voted one of the 99 best hotels worldwide seven times in a row by our guests, on Holidaycheck. All this was and is only possible through an always friendly and fair cooperation between us, the Scharler family, and our many long-time employees.

What we offer our employees

- Annual position. We are open about 320 days a year. In spring, either before or after Easter, we are closed for about 20 days. In autumn, the hotel is also closed for about 20 days. This is normally from 1 week after All Saints week. During this time, overtime and vacation that was not used during the season will be used up
- 5 or 6 days week
- Non-alcoholic beverages and meals during working hours and also during free time. Breakfast, lunch, afternoon snack and dinner. Pork-free food is also available if needed
- Overtime is paid. Either these are already included in the salary (anything over 40 hours/week) or are compensated as time off (paid time off)
- Vacation is also possible during the season by arrangement
- Fixed day off. In principle, everyone can choose their "desired day". If this day is already taken by another employee, it is only possible after consultation
- The duty roster is always prepared the week before. However, changes at short notice due to staff absences due to illness are possible. Here, too, an agreement takes place
- Work clothes are partially provided
- On consumptions in the hotel (e.g. alcoholic drinks, massages, possibly courses...) you get 50% discount on the normal price
- Guest washing machine and guest dryer can be used
- If larger items need to be transported, our hotel bus, pickup truck and/or trailers can be used
- Friends or family receive a 30% discount on room rates. Can be used when free room capacity is available
- At the end of each season in winter and summer there is a closing evening with free food and drinks
Hotel facilities and the wellness area can be used in the free time
- 500,- as a placement bonus for the placement of additional employees, provided that they have been with the company for at least 1 month
- Further training courses are covered by us. The training or courses must be job or company related. A pro-rata settlement of the course costs to the employee takes place in the event of early departure (the distribution varies depending on the course costs)
- 50 % discount for our employees on vacations in other Kinderhotels
