For our team at the Hintertuxerhof, we’re looking for an all-arounder in service and childcare (m/f/d) who enjoys variety and feels right at home in both areas.
With us, no two days are the same: One day you’ll be in the restaurant making sure our guests—both big and small—feel completely at home, and the next you’ll be playing, crafting, laughing, and discovering the world together.
Job Description:
Your workplace spans two worlds:
In the service department, you’ll be right in the thick of the hotel’s daily life, and:
- you’ll provide warm and attentive service to our guests.
- serve food and drinks.
- prepare tables and restaurant areas for the next service.
- handle mise en place, set tables, and clear them.
- assist with our buffets.
- You’ll lend a hand wherever our service team needs support.
Childcare is colorful, creative, and guaranteed never to be boring:
- You’ll care for our little guests with love and responsibility.
- You’ll play, do crafts, paint, and create together with the children.
- You’ll supervise indoor and outdoor activities.
- You’ll help with our varied children’s program.
- You’ll also supervise the kids during mealtimes.
- Together with your team, you’ll ensure that our play areas remain tidy and inviting.
Your duties will be split roughly 50/50 between service and childcare —depending on where you’re needed at the moment.

What you should bring to your Hintertuxerhof adventure:
- A love for working with people—whether young or old.
- Ideally, experience in customer service and/or childcare.
- A warm, friendly, and open demeanor.
- A sense of responsibility and reliability.
- Flexibility and a willingness to work in two different areas.
- Team spirit—because here, everyone pitches in when it counts.
- An independent and meticulous work style.
- Good German and English skills; knowledge of other languages is, of course, also a plus.
And very importantly: You shouldn’t have to decide whether you’d rather work in customer service or in childcare—because it’s precisely that mix that makes this job what it is.
