Description

Welcome to Matreier Tauernhaus, our family-run hotel with a history dating back to 1207—featuring 35 rooms and à la carte dining, nestled in the majestic mountains of the Hohe Tauern National Park. Here, we work with passion, warmth, and down-to-earth hospitality.

Your responsibilities: 

Setting up and taking down the breakfast buffet.Performing light kitchen tasks, such as preparing various dishes (egg dishes, etc.).• Ensuring smooth service operations during the morning shift.• Setting and clearing tables, as well as setting up and restocking food and beverages at the buffet.• Performing cleaning tasks in the restaurant.• Assisting with daily restaurant operations. 

 

What to Expect 

Your workday begins at 6:00 a.m.—you’ll open the restaurant and set up the breakfast buffet for our guests. During breakfast from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., you’ll ensure everything runs smoothly at the buffet. Afterward, you’ll clean the breakfast room and the buffet for the evening service and prepare the restaurant area. Until the end of your shift at 2:30 p.m., depending on the day’s priorities, you’ll support our team in housekeeping or, as a server, assist the service team in the day restaurant.

Requirements

What should you bring to the table?
  • Experience in the service industry.
  • A friendly demeanor and a hospitable attitude—enjoy interacting with guests and coworkers.
  • A sense of responsibility, attention to cleanliness, precision, and the ability to work independently.
  • Composure during peak hours—you keep a cool head even in stressful situations.
  • German is your native language, or you speak German fluently.
