Description
We are looking for the following position at our hotel restaurant from December 1, 2026, through April 3, 2027:
Head Waiter/Waitress
Responsibilities include:
- Breakfast service
- Pre- and post-service tasks in the restaurant (vacuuming, mopping, cleaning)
- Dinner service (taking drink orders, serving drinks, checking on dishes, serving meals, making small talk with guests, etc.)
- Beverage service
- Buffet (keeping the buffet clean, restocking)
- Back office
- Point-of-sale system (no cash handling)
- Working in a section with approximately 20–25 guests
- We almost always have split shifts (morning and evening)
Requirements
Requirements:
- Friendliness & Reliability
- Punctuality
- Neat appearance
- Knowledge of German
- At least 1 season of experience working in a hotel in Austria
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Friendly and positive attitude
Language skills
German B2 (good intermediate level)
Work permit
Must have a work permit (or be an EU citizen)
What we offer
Work Schedule and Compensation:
- 6-day workweek, split shifts (mornings & evenings), one day off per week
- Net salary of EUR 2,400 per month (based on 6 days)
- Vacation and holidays are paid, and tips are included
Housing and Meals:
- Single apartment in our new, modern staff residence with private bathroom, toilet, kitchen, Wi-Fi, and smart TV
- Free laundry facilities
- Free meals 2–3 times a day at the hotel (breakfast, lunch, dinner)
- The staff residence is just a 10-minute walk from the hotel
