Your Challenge as “Chef de Service” In this position, you’ll be part of our restaurant’s leadership team. Together with your service staff, you’ll lead the service team independently and responsibly, and we expect you to demonstrate the utmost trustworthiness. Under the motto “Serving Like a Master,” we treat our guests to culinary delights and exquisite wines and fine spirits from around the world. With a passion for our work, great tact, and an open heart, we fulfill our guests’ wishes.
Requirements
Required Qualifications: Relevant training with several years of practical experience in the field; excellent knowledge of wine and expertise in the field (a sommelier certification would be an advantage); excellent knowledge of both national and international fine dining; cost-effectiveness and hygiene; organizational and leadership skills; and a friendly, outgoing demeanor toward guests. Your responsibilities: Leading the service team; organizing and supervising individual stations; providing ongoing training for our service staff; creating recommendations for aperitifs, wines, and digestifs; conducting daily menu reviews; setting up and helping to design themed buffets; providing personalized wine recommendations (for wine connoisseurs) Planning and preparing the seating chart Welcoming and seating guests Overseeing and managing the bottle wine rack and digestif cart Covering bar duties (on days off) Preparing the work schedule

- The minimum base salary for this position, as set by the collective bargaining agreement, is 3,000 euros gross per month for a 6-day workweek totaling 48 hours; the employer is willing to pay above the collective bargaining agreement rate depending on the candidate's qualifications.
