Description
It's great that you're reading this!
A new chapter begins for this position at the Juffing Hotel & Spa on May 1.
We are looking for a dedicated and independent assistant restaurant manager who shares our philosophy and actively supports our team. Our restaurant management team needs a new member—someone with a warm heart, a passion for the job, and a commitment to excellence.
To us, service means attentiveness, team spirit, and genuine hospitality—all delivered with a smile, confidence, and a passion for our work.
If this sounds like the right fit for you, we’d love to have you join our team.
Your responsibilities
- You will independently manage your own service station and keep everything under control, even during busy periods.
- You will stand in for the restaurant management on their days off and actively support the team.
- You enjoy sharing your knowledge and supporting younger colleagues in their professional development.
- You work reliably and independently—from preparation to follow-up.
Here's what you'll need
- Experience in the service sector of upscale restaurants or hotels (approx. 2–3 years)
- The joy of independently managing your own department
- Interest in wine, cuisine, and assisting guests
- Confidence when interacting with guests and a natural demeanor
- Excellent knowledge of German
- Interested in supporting younger colleagues and sharing knowledge
- A structured approach to work and an eye for detail
- Previous experience in team leadership or as a deputy is a plus
- Knowledge of wine is a plus—sommelier training is a plus, but not required
Your benefits
- We are a family-run business open year-round.
- Flexible work arrangements for local employees who do not require housing (e.g., a 4-day workweek); otherwise, a 5-day workweek.
- Free meals: Breakfast, lunch, and dinner every day, even on your days off.
- We take the time to have meaningful conversations.
- Top salary—because we know what you're capable of!
- Your responsibilities are clearly defined.
- Your professional development and growth are important to us, and we’re happy to cover the cost of specialized courses for you and the team.
- You'll live in a modern apartment with a cozy atmosphere, including your own kitchen, a gym, and an underground parking space (); if you don't need an apartment, your salary will increase.
- You are welcome to use our spa area and participate in the "Reflection and Renewal" program for our guests.
For us, service is a craft—driven by joy, respect, and team spirit. If this is how you like to work, we look forward to meeting you.
Start date: May 1
We send you warm regards from the beautiful Thierseetal and look forward to receiving your application.
