Description
We are looking for motivated support for our service team for the coming summer season.
Together with your team, you will ensure that our all-inclusive guests are catered for throughout the day—from the breakfast buffet to our lunch snack buffet to the 5-course evening menu. You enjoy working with a wide variety of guests, including many families with children. At our family hotel, we attach great importance to ensuring that our younger guests are completely satisfied.
As a Commis de Rang, you will support our service team in all areas of daily service operations. In stressful times, you remain calm and keep track of everything. Just like us, you value teamwork and respectful cooperation – even across departmental boundaries. We would be delighted if you became an integral part of our team for many seasons to come. (:
Requirements
WHAT WE ENTRUST YOU WITH:
- Serving food
- Informing guests about ingredients, preparation, and possible allergens—if desired
- Participating in daily briefings before the start of your shift (menu changes, guest requirements, etc.)
- Preparing, refilling, maintaining, and clearing buffets (breakfast, lunch snack, dinner)
- Supervising and restocking beverage stations as part of our all-inclusive concept
- Clearing tables, setting them, and preparing them for the next service
- Mise-en-place work (e.g., polishing glasses and cutlery, folding napkins)
- Cleaning the restaurant and buffet areas in accordance with our hygiene and cleanliness standards (including sweeping, vacuuming, mopping)
- Friendly, attentive guest contact—especially when dealing with families and children

- You have the ability to understand and fulfill guest requests accurately
- You are able to deal with our guests' complaints and concerns in a professional and calm manner
- You are a team player but also able to complete tasks independently and on your own initiative

- You have the physical stamina and endurance necessary for working in service
- You have a strong awareness of hygiene and carry out cleaning tasks accurately and carefully
- You have very good German or English skills
