The family-run Hotel Bergkristall stands for the highest quality, a feast for all the senses, and warm hospitality. We’re looking for a breakfast chef with an eye for detail to prepare our breakfast buffet, which is popular far beyond our borders.
Our sun terrace is the perfect place to enjoy our excellent lunch—from fresh fish and seafood to juicy steaks, delicious pasta, and tempting truffle dishes, all accompanied by a fine selection of wines. In the evening, we treat our hotel guests to an exquisite 5-course dinner menu of their choice, complemented by salads and cheeses from the buffet.
Your Responsibilities
- Passionate Chef: Preparing and presenting a lavish breakfast buffet that delights our guests, and assisting at the front-of-house egg station.
- Early Bird: Ensuring smooth operations in the kitchen in the morning.
- Freshness Specialist: Using and preparing high-quality, fresh ingredients for breakfast dishes.
- Creative Mind: Developing and implementing new ideas for our breakfast menu.
- Hygiene Hero: Adherence to the highest quality and hygiene standards in accordance with HACCP.
- Team Player: Work closely with the kitchen team and other departments.

Requirements
- Skills: Completed vocational training as a chef.
- Experience: Several years of professional experience as a breakfast chef or in a comparable position.
- Passion: A passion for cooking and a high degree of creativity.
- Early riser: Willingness to work early in the morning.
- Team Spirit: Ability to work well with others and strong communication skills.
- Resilience: Flexibility and resilience, even in stressful situations.
- Precision: A meticulous and precise work style.
- Hygiene Awareness: Very good knowledge of hygiene regulations.
