Requirements
- Cleaning dishes and cookware in accordance with HACCP guidelines; assisting the chefs with light kitchen tasks as needed. Ensuring a clean, tidy, and hygienic kitchen
Responsibilities and Skills
- Pre-cleaning and rinsing of cookware (pots, pans, and baking trays)
- Pre-cleaning and rinsing of dishes, china, and cutlery
- Storing pots, pans, dishes, and china in their designated places
- Daily cleaning of the dishwasher in compliance with HACCP regulations
- Restocking cleaning chemicals and cleaning supplies
- Assisting with washing and peeling vegetables and fruit as needed
- Assisting with receiving and storing goods in compliance with HACCP regulations
- Daily cleaning of floor drains, sinks, and floors at the end of the kitchen shift
- Daily assistance with cleaning the kitchen floor as needed
- Cleaning of kitchen windows and countertops,
- Disinfecting shelves and work surfaces
- Assistance with cleaning the kitchen, storage areas, and cold storage rooms as needed
- Assistance with plating and garnishing as needed
- Daily waste management in the kitchen (emptying trash cans, disposing of trash)
- Removing empty containers, cardboard boxes, returnable bottles, and delivery crates from the kitchen area to the designated areas
