Since the Hotel SONNE, built in 1965, changed hands to the Steindl family in 1988, the well-being of our guests has been our top priority. The Steindl family includes a team of 45 dedicated employees who make vacations an experience.
In the best sunny location in Kirchberg, with a view of the surrounding Brixental mountain landscape and in the direct vicinity of the Gamsstadt Kitzbühel, whose ski area is second to none, we inspire our guests every day anew with living Tyrolean hospitality.
We have 126 rooms and suites, a large 7x17m indoor pool, 3.200m² wellness and SPA area, gym and much more.
Our restaurant with its panoramic windows, two parlors and bar enchants our guests daily with traditional and international cuisine, with a focus on regional products.

YOUR TASKS ..
- Organization of the mise en place and responsible management of the post
- High-quality production and arrangement of the corresponding menu components
- Compliance and development of recipes
- Implementation of hygiene guidelines according to HACCP and safety regulations
- Merchandise management and ordering in consultation with the head chef
- careful handling of goods as well as kitchen inventory

YOUR PROFILE ..
- Completed vocational training as a cook / chef
- Several years of professional experience in the upscale catering industry
- Self-confident, friendly and well-groomed appearance
- Ability to work in a team and to think and act independently
- Flexibility and resilience
- Targeted problem solving and professional time management
- Enjoyment of the job combined with high quality awareness
- Good knowledge of German (other foreign languages an advantage)
