For the upcoming winter season, we’re looking for an experienced pizza chef (m/f/d) to join our kitchen team at the Lazy Flamingo Diner in Obertauern.
The Lazy Flamingo isn’t your typical hotel restaurant. We’re all about casual fast dining, high quality, quick service, and a relaxed, international vibe. Especially during our busy evening shifts, our kitchen needs to operate quickly, efficiently, and as a cohesive team.
As a pizza chef, you’ll independently manage our pizza station —from mise-en-place and prep to production during à la carte service, right through to daily cleaning and organizing your workstation.
You’ll work closely with our Kitchen Team Leader and the other chefs, and help out at other stations as needed.
What’s important to us: great pizza, consistent quality, streamlined processes, and a colleague the team can rely on even when the restaurant is full.

Requirements
- Professional experience as a pizza chef
- Ability to work independently at the pizza station
- Experience with dough preparation, portioning, topping, and baking
- Ability to work quickly and efficiently in à la carte service
- Excellent mise en place and organizational skills
- Consistent quality even during peak order volumes
- Responsible handling of food and supplies
- Consistent cleanliness and awareness of HACCP
- Willingness to support the kitchen team even outside the pizza station
- Team spirit, reliability, and the ability to handle pressure
- German or English for communication within the kitchen team
- An EU work permit is a plus
