Description
To strengthen our kitchen team, we are seeking a dedicated and experienced sous chef (m/f/d) for our family-run hotel. In this position of responsibility, you will assist and stand in for the executive chef and play a key role in the preparation and presentation of our high-quality 5-course gourmet menus (no à la carte). You will actively participate in kitchen operations, coordinate workflows, lead the kitchen team, and ensure seamless service. Requirements
You have several years of professional experience as a chef in the upscale hotel or restaurant industry and ideally already have leadership experience. You are known for your creativity, passion for cooking, and strong commitment to quality. You work in an organized and independent manner and are accustomed to keeping a cool head even under pressure. We require teamwork skills, reliability, resilience, and flexibility—especially regarding work schedules on weekends and holidays. In addition, you possess in-depth expertise in food preparation and a strong sense of responsibility for hygiene and safety standards in the kitchen.
