Head Chef (m/f/d)

Summer / Winter Season

Österreich, Salzburg, Salzburger Sportwelt

Description

We’re launching a new dining concept in Radstadt in December 2026 and are looking for you to join us as our head chef (m/f/d) starting in early November 2026.
Something completely new is taking shape from an old, historic building—everything is being renovated, redesigned, and infused with new life. A new kitchen, a new concept, and a place where you can truly bring your ideas to life. If this sounds like the kind of opportunity you’re looking for, then you should definitely keep reading.
Together, we want to create a place where guests feel at home and love to come back—with authentic cuisine, high quality, and a lot of passion.
We’re actively involved in the day-to-day operations ourselves and are looking for a motivated, creative individual who’s eager to build something new with us. Whether you’re already a head chef or a dedicated sous chef looking to take the next step in your career—what matters most to us is your passion for cooking, your creativity, and your enjoyment of working as part of a team.

Requirements

Cooking is more than just a job to you—it’s your passion. You’re eager to help us build something new and contribute your own ideas. You enjoy working independently, taking on responsibility, and keeping a clear head even in stressful situations.

You appreciate working in a small team where everyone pitches in and you can count on one another. Quality, locally sourced ingredients, and a mindful approach to food are second nature to you.

Your responsibilities:

  • Helping to develop and implement our menu
  • Independently managing and organizing the kitchen
  • Leading a small team (1 cook and a dishwasher)
  • Purchasing, inventory management, and cost calculation
  • Ensuring quality and hygiene (HACCP)
  • Actively participating in the preparation and execution of the grand opening

What you bring to the table:

  • Completed training as a chef
  • A passion for fresh, seasonal cuisine
  • Creativity and a passion for contributing your own ideas
  • Ability to work independently and responsibly
  • Team spirit, reliability, and a hands-on attitude

  • A small team with quick decision-making processes
  • 5-day workweek
  • Seasonal operation (summer and winter seasons)
  • Free meals during working hours
  • Free housing if needed
  • Fair, performance-based compensation with a willingness to pay above market rates depending on qualifications and experience
