Requirements
Your Responsibilities
- Organizing and coordinating kitchen operations
- Assigning tasks and leading the kitchen team
- Quality control of food, hygiene, and presentation
- Assisting with menu planning and the development of new dishes
- Ordering supplies and managing inventory
- Orientation and training of employees and apprentices
- Ensuring compliance with HACCP and hygiene standards
- Assisting with food preparation during service hours
- In short: The sous chef ensures that kitchen operations run smoothly.
- What you bring to the table
- Completed training as a chef and several years of experience, ideally in a similar position
- High standards of quality, attention to detail, and a keen sense of taste and presentation
- You’re clear, fair, and approachable—and you roll up your sleeves and get to work
- A passion for regional products, seasonal cuisine, and creative innovations
- Team spirit, resilience, and a cool head—even when things get hectic
- Good command of German and English
