As head chef (m/f/d), you’ll delight our guests with hearty alpine dishes, contribute your own ideas, and work with your team to ensure that day-to-day kitchen operations run smoothly. You’ll be joining a family-run business nestled in the heart of the Salzburg mountains, where personal interaction and teamwork are key.

Tasks
- Independently managing the kitchen and leading the kitchen team
- Preparing and refining our dishes
- Organizing kitchen operations and staff scheduling
- Purchasing, inventory control, and cost-effective use of ingredients
- Ensuring quality, cleanliness, and hygiene standards
Requirements
- Completed culinary training and several years of professional experience
- Management experience, ideally as a head chef or sous chef
- A passion for Austrian cuisine and working with fresh ingredients
- Strong organizational skills and a keen eye for quality and cost-effective use of ingredients
- A respectful leadership style, team spirit, and the ability to remain calm even during busy periods
- An independent, reliable work ethic and a solid grasp of hygiene standards
- Good German language skills for daily collaboration within the team
Experience

German C1 (advanced knowledge)

HOGAST myHOGAST (Very good knowledge)

Employment & Salary
4600 € gross / month
Depending on qualifications, higher pay may be offered
