Requirements

Our new concept kitchen is currently under construction—join our team as a Head Chef (m/f/d) and help us build a kitchen with a future by developing concepts, streamlining processes, and helping to shape our kitchen in a sustainable way. 

Your responsibilities…

  • Overall responsibility for setting up, organizing, and managing the new process kitchen
  • Active involvement in developing the kitchen concept, processes, and workflows
  • Analysis of existing structures and optimization of production and service workflows
  • Development and implementation of standards, recipes, and work instructions
  • Planning and implementing efficient mise-en-place, production, and serving processes
  • Leadership, motivation, and professional development of the kitchen team
  • Responsibility for inventory management, ordering, cost calculations, and cost control
  • Ensuring consistently high quality
  • Compliance with and monitoring of all hygiene and safety standards (HACCP)
  • Close collaboration with hotel management and service staff

 

You have…

Professional qualifications… 

  • Completed vocational training as a chef
  • Several years of professional experience in a managerial position or in a responsible deputy role with leadership responsibilities
  • Experience in establishing, optimizing, or restructuring kitchen operations
  • An understanding of process kitchens, standardized processes, or production kitchens is a plus
  • Excellent knowledge of costing, inventory management, and cost control
  • Excellent knowledge of hygiene and food regulations
  • Trainer Certification (AdA) or willingness to obtain it
