Description
We are looking for a sous chef who shares our philosophy. An honest, creative, cheerful person for whom cooking is a passion. Someone with a talent for organization, a meticulous approach to work, and a strong sense of creativity. In the afternoon, we offer a small snack menu, as well as cakes and desserts. In the evening, our guests enjoy a 5-course menu. No à la carte, only half board. Our hotel restaurant can seat 90 guests. Inspired by nature and tradition. Regional cuisine with a modern twist is presented on the plate with love and taste, delighting our guests. Employment from May to mid-January (9-10 months).
Requirements
- Active cooking and love of the profession - completed vocational training as a chef - at least 3 years of professional experience in upscale, modern hotel or restaurant kitchens - leadership skills and team player for a 5-person kitchen team - precise knowledge of the internal processes in the kitchen of a hotel - ordering and warehousing - loyalty to the company - good and confident manners - sense of responsibility and independence - creativity - flexibility and ability to work under pressure - reliability - HACCP - menu planning - knowledge of intolerances - respectful handling of food
