Head Housekeeper (m/f/d)

Your Responsibilities

• Organizing and managing all housekeeping operations
• Leading, assigning tasks to, and motivating the housekeeping team
• Developing and coordinating daily workflows
• Inspecting cleaned guest rooms and public areas
• Ensuring compliance with our quality and hygiene standards
• Organizing the cleaning of our water park, the Panorama Spa, and the hotel’s public areas
• Coordinating with the front desk, facilities management, and other departments
• Organizing and monitoring laundry, cleaning supplies, and consumables
• Performing and documenting regular general and special cleaning tasks
• Training new employees
• Identifying defects and reporting or coordinating necessary repairs
• Actively participating in day-to-day operations when support is needed

What You Bring to the Table

• Experience in housekeeping, ideally as a housekeeper, assistant housekeeper, or team leader
• A keen eye for cleanliness, order, and detail
• Organizational skills and the ability to maintain a clear overview even on busy check-in and check-out days
• Leadership skills: You can set clear guidelines, delegate tasks, and motivate your team at the same time
• An independent and responsible work ethic
• Willingness to make decisions and find solutions
• Good communication skills and a respectful approach toward employees and guests
• Cost-effective approach to managing staff, linens, cleaning supplies, and consumables
• Physical stamina and a willingness to pitch in with hands-on work
• Good German language skills for communicating with other departments; additional languages are a plus

What is particularly important to us in our housekeeper

We are not looking for a housekeeper who merely checks rooms and assigns tasks. To us, you are the manager responsible for the entire housekeeping department.

You know your hotel inside and out, independently identify where action is needed, set priorities, and ensure that your team knows what to do. At the same time, you work closely and seamlessly with the front desk, facilities management, and hotel management.

You lead with clarity and respect, pitch in when needed, and are committed to ensuring that our guests feel completely at ease from the moment they step into the hotel until they reach their room.
