We’re looking for a Restaurant Manager (m/f/d) who, with charm, organizational skills, and a sense of responsibility, will ensure that our breakfast and dinner service become truly enjoyable experiences.
In this key position , you’ll serve as a motivator, coach, and role model for a six-person service team and, together with the host family, ensure a service culture of the highest standard. You won’t be working alone, but hand in hand with us and the other departments—because at the Barbarahof, true teamwork is what counts.
Requirements

- Professional experience in customer service, ideally with leadership responsibilities
- A passion for hospitality, quality service, and attention to detail
- A positive attitude, team spirit, and a passion for growing together
- Willingness to take on responsibility and actively help shape standards
- Enjoyment of providing wine recommendations, interacting with guests, and maintaining a professional demeanor
- Organizational skills and the ability to handle pressure—even during busy periods
- Treating guests and colleagues with respect comes naturally to you
💡 Your responsibilities at a glance:
- Leading and motivating the service team (approx. 6 people)
- Ensuring that breakfast and dinner service run smoothly (half-board)
- Training and professional development of your staff
- Assisting with shift schedules (in collaboration with management)
- Providing active wine advice and recommendations
- Helping to organize events and culinary highlights
We are therefore looking for someone who not only has experience in customer service but also truly lives and breathes a passion for hospitality!
Your responsibilities will be varied and demanding: You’ll lead and motivate our service team, ensure that breakfast and dinner run smoothly, and provide warm, professional guest service.
