Do you love inspiring people, supporting a team, and using your passion and organizational skills to lay the groundwork for great seminars? Starting immediately, as an In-House Sales Manager (m/f/d) with several years of professional experience in the hospitality industry (ideally in seminar hotels), you can help bring our venue to life as a place for people to come together. You will lay the groundwork to ensure that seminars, conferences, and retreats in the inspiring Helenental run smoothly and become unforgettable experiences for both guests and teams.

 

Salary starting at €2,500 gross

Type of position: Full-time, permanent position (40 hours/5-day week)

Requirements

Your responsibilities with us
  • Managing and supporting a small team
  • In-house sales of seminars, conferences, and group events, including administrative tasks (quotes, confirmations, summaries, detailed discussions)
  • Preparing the weekly preview and communicating at management meetings – serving as the liaison to all departments
  • Close collaboration with event management and acting as a representative in event sales
  • Optimizing capacity utilization and revenue, forecasting, and planning marketing initiatives in collaboration with our marketing agency
  • Regular meetings with hotel management
  • Collaboration with Seminargo (bookings, overflow, etc.)
  • Representing the hotel at trade shows and events
  • Organization of supporting programs, technical support, and other event logistics
  • Experience with the Fidelio booking system is a plus

 

Your Profile
  • Several years of experience in the hospitality industry and/or event sales
  • Enjoyment of and experience in team leadership and employee development
  • Structured approach to work, strong communication skills, and organizational talent
  • Enthusiasm for seminars, events, and working in an inspiring environment
  • Language skills: Fluent written and spoken German, business-level English
