Description
Your tasks with us:
- Personal care of our guests with warmth, professional competence and an eye for individual wishes
- Active collaboration in à la carte and evening service - you are not just a sommelier, but part of the service team
- Advising, presenting and serving wines at the table - stylishly, at eye level and with enthusiasm
- Maintaining the wine list and responsibility for an up-to-date, harmonious range that complements our cuisine
- Organizing the wine storage and wine cabinets, including checking deliveries and stock levels
- Planning and organizing tastings, wine evenings or pairing events - with your ideas if you like
- Passing on your knowledge to the team - through small training courses, recommendations in everyday life or short tastings
Requirements
What you bring with you:
- Completed training as a sommelier or sound knowledge in the field of wine & beverages
- Experience in upscale gastronomy or the hotel industry is an advantage
- Passion for wine, pairings and culinary culture
- Host qualities, team spirit and enjoyment of direct guest contact
- Structured, independent way of working
- Very good knowledge of German, good knowledge of English desirable
- Language skills
