We are looking for a motivated sommelier to support our restaurant management in putting together the wine range and advising our guests in the fine dining restaurant Ess:enz, the hotel restaurant and the Freiraum bar.

With 80 suites, rooms & 14 chalets as well as the award-winning lounge & bar >>Freiraum, PURADIES is a 4*S feel-good resort with a difference. Responsibilities:

  • Competent and sensitive advice & recommendation of wines, as well as in the selection of drinks and food
  • Compilation of the wine assortment
  • Co-designing the wine list & the weekly recommendation
  • Checking wine deliveries and proper storage
  • Tasting, preparing and serving wines appropriately
  • Carrying out wine tastings with our guests
  • Carrying out staff training in the area of wine
  • Various mise en place tasks
  • Coordination of your work area
  • Organization of a smooth service process
  • Independent and autonomous execution of bookings and invoicing
  • Management and guidance of subordinate employees
  • Compliance with quality standards

Requirements

  • Completed sommelier training, additionally completed training in gastronomy
  • Professional experience in a comparable position
  • Active support in the operational business
  • Host who immediately shows that you enjoy your job
  • Self-confident, confident and well-groomed appearance, positive charisma
  • High motivation and commitment, ability to work under pressure and flexibility
  • German is essential, any other language is an advantage
  • Open-mindedness and ability to work in a team
  • Communication skills: eloquent, open, friendly
