Description
We are looking for a motivated sous chef for our organic hotel.
Come work at one of the most beautiful organic hotels in Austria! In 2026, it was recognized as a “National Sustainable Initiative” in tourism. The Rupertus is a modern and upscale ****organic hotel with 50 comfortable guest rooms, combining traditional roots with modern amenities. A family-run vacation hotel now in its second generation. We pamper our guests throughout all four seasons according to our philosophy: Organic. Active & Authentic. As a member of Biohotels, we use 100% organic ingredients in all areas of our operations.Our cuisine is light and contemporary, offering a wide range of Austrian and Mediterranean dishes—from juicy steaks to vegan options. The new GreenBAR is open to both hotel guests and outside visitors and rounds out the culinary experience with a fine selection of wines.
Requirements
Your Responsibilities
- Creative involvement in both kitchen planning and implementation
- Standing in for the head chef on his days off
- Working hand-in-hand with the head chef to lead our small teams
Your Profile
- Solid training and practical experience
- A positive attitude toward organic cuisine and working with organic ingredients
- A collaborative work environment
- Loyalty to the company
Experience
5 Jahre Work experience
1 Jahr Leadership experience
Language skills
German B1 (Intermediate)
Work permit
Must have a work permit (or be an EU citizen)
